Beata Gilbert was born and raised in Tarnów, Poland. She earned an associate degree in black-and-white darkroom photography before moving to San Antonio, Texas, in 2005. Later she pursued her goal of becoming a Registered Nurse. In 2013, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and has since gained extensive experience working in critical care units.

In 2018, Beata began her studies at Walden University, earning her degree in 2022, and becoming a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. In her practice she incorporates her compassion, empathy, life experiences, professionalism, and conscientiousness in supporting individuals with mental health disorders, and is passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness.

She specializes in psychiatric illnesses including but not limited to depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and others. She provides medication management and treatment for diverse mental health disorders. She believes none of us should be alone in this journey.

Outside of her professional life, Beata enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, fishing, and spending time with her four rescue dogs. She loves photography and adventure.
